Yeah, this should be in General Anime Q&A, which is stickied at the top of this page.

That said, the majority of what you have described reminds me of Inuyasha. If it isn't, then it would help, and speed things up, if you could possibly give a description of the main character(s).

I don't think it's Inuyasha. It resembles an episode of Maison Ikkoku, but without the demons. Uhh, try asking elsewhere. Lol.

Thank you all for this support and welcoming ,
as I checked the replays , its not Inuyasha that's for sure , and I also checked Maison Ikkoku and I wasn't lucky yet , about the main character he is young black hair handsome guy , and in deferent episodes his hair style is deferent too , I mean if the story is in the past he will have long hair and in the present its short , he don't travail in time but as I said he is immortal , I remembered one small detail I hope it help , in the episode about the demon mom , after the second mom kills her own baby girl , she turn in to demon or beast ( what ever you might describe it ) then he slay her with his sword and turn her back to human form , she tells him that she will do any thing to get her child back he tells her that this words cost this sword owner a lot , so she kills her self with his sword through the knick , at the last scene you see the small baby child all grown up walking with her friend and she pass by him and looks at him like if she knew him from somewhere .

one more thing I forget to tell that this Anime is extremely violence and there is a lot of blood and slaying
