    2011 Cricket Android and Tablet Q1 2011

I guess I am just weary of flashed phones because of all the bugs guys seem to have on here with them. I am computer illiterate so if something didnt work on the phone I would be scewed. My biggest thing is the roaming though. I travel to other Cricket AWS markets all the time and its nice to use my phone and not sap up roaming minutes. As I understand it, if I leave Chattanooga and go to Atlanta, my phone will be roaming regardless instead of being in network. That could get expensive REALLY quickly.

    2011 Cricket Android and Tablet Q1 2011

"I saw a memo from a reliable source and thought I'd pass the info.
Although cricKet claims it to temporary, they (cricket) will be limiting all data functions on any customer provide PDA device. This also applies to upgrading plans. Yup what this means is if you take your PDA to get active cricket will simply activate the talk and text only.
The work around for the customer
Contact a dealer or someone other than cricKet corp and activate or have your plan changed or have your current device changed to a cricket brand phone. "

you can still get you phone fully flashed to cricket, you just CANNOT go to a corporate owned (really large) cricket stores to get it down, you MUST go into a either a Premier Dealer or any other small cricket dealer.

Cricket doesn't want flashed phones on their network, but as far as I know, there is NO way they can stop people from using "Customer Provided Equipment" (CPE).
