Wasn't as bad as I thought though I spent half the ep trying to place the ozzie teacher knew I'd seen him somewhere but couldn't name the film. Ended up asking my mum
I hope the low ratings are more to do with people realising how awful the show is rather than the timeslot. Charlie Brooker summed it up perfectly tonight.
Any smut in it?
I can see why people wouldn't like it. It's a bit cheesy and if you're not into musicals and stuff it won't be your cup of tea. I quite like it. Easy enough to watch, fairly entertaining. Not as good as High School Musical though
So who here has got the dvd then ???
Ha ha ha ha, no
Thats a really good thread title.
I actually liked it and found it a good fun show - especially for a Sunday evening. Ok it is cheesy and cliched in places but that is expected.
Shame about the low ratings but it may pick up next week with a better time slot. If BH was shown on a Saturday night, it would have better ratings i would think. Or maybe the full on promotion turned some viewers off?
Although I did speculate this was to be a coming out episode it was much better than that would have been. Jez felt like a modern gay character - why would he feel the need to keep being gay secret in 2008, especially when he studies performing arts?! Congrats must go to the producers for coming up with a gay character who is comfortable with who he is and a character in his own right, and not defined by his sexuality. Those stories have been done to death in soap operas, and instead we got something refreshingly different.
