But if you think about it, it's stupid. FaceTime neeRAB a revamp and locking it to wifi doesn't help make it spectacular I'd rather use a third party app like Skype because of this issue. We have unlimited plans (well some of us) but i say let me choose how I use my data. If sprint unlocks FaceTime over 3G that will just be another reason why I switch back.

I always thought the idea of preorder is to get the product when it first released. Not much point if you got wait weeks to get it. Might as well try your luck in the shop.
Is there any benefit of ordering though the mail, or is just a marketing exercise by apple to have your money in there bank account for a couple of weeks before they send you the product ?

Absolutely will love it and its the second most wanted feature outta the new iOS that i want.

Mostly because i work in a shop that has wifi but terrible signal.. so it usually takes awhile to try and send a message.. and i almost always have to hold my hand up to a window.. very annoying.

BUT luckily, most of the ppl i text fluently.. have iPhones.. so this is just perfect!

Question? Why doesn't FaceTime work using the providers LTE, or 3G+ service if Skype works?

Yes I have been wondering if this is a problem I have or is it universal. Another issue I have with it is that messges are not updated on the screen while I am texting. if a new message comes in, in the same conversation I have to back out and reopen the convo. to see the newest reply. I thought it was an issue with the "notifications" option but turning that off didnt correct it. (thought maybe it routing the message to the home screen was keeping it from appearing as it came in) anyone else have this as well?
