Not at a corporate level, they would not. However in their local markets where EVDO isn't launched yet, they absolutely would. Carriers a lot of times will have an engineering range where their test phones are provisioned. Say a block of 100 to 200 nurabers. The local EVDO systems would likely be able to see the MIN/MDNs of active sessions. *IF* they're paying attention.
The more I think about it, if you're in a market where EVDO isn't being beta test, or in production, your MIN/MDN will likely stick out like a sore thurab.
With Portland launched, and other markets in beta test, I imagine that this conversation will likely become moot, pretty quickly.
*** On Edit - I haven't passed along the Portland PRL, as I have opened it up and read it. It won't help anyone outside of Portland/Salem/Eugene. The IS856 channels are associated directly by SID and Freq. The only IS856 channels in the Portland PRL are for 4945, 5019, and 6323, Freqs 1175 and 975.
