hello, i don't know much of anything about this kind of stuff but if anyone can help me, much appreciated.

my iphone 16gb 3g was jailbroken 3.1.2 but i downloaded a bunch of crap which made it run mad slow, also my youtube and couple other things didnt work either. so i saved the backup so i can get my contact back from itunes after i reset my whole phone.
i didn't want restore it because it would've updated to 3.1.3
so i reset the phone and it was stuck on apple, i home+hold button for 25 second and it shows the connect to itunes sign. so i connect to itunes and its asking me to restore so i tried using black rain. gets stuck at the picture.

now here i am with a iphone thats not on any firmware.
whats the best thing to do for me right now.? upgrade to 3.1.3 or just leave as boot? i want my phone to be jailbroken, also my sister and her boyfriend have jailbroken iphones 32 3GS if that helps if i need something from them or something.


whoever can help me id be really thankful, im very worried.

First I upload my Ecid to cydia when my 3gs is on 3.1.2,,5.11.And Now I upgrade to 3.1.3., 5.12.Afterthat downgrade to 3.1.2 again with procedure which is shown in first page.Procedure everything ok but itune give error "eligable".Pls help.
