Last time i saw a corp store, it still said "coming soon"
Is the Jetset a evdo device, or 1x? One of my employees just got one, and I know its triband, i could see what its seeing on data... assuming it has an evdo radio

SounRAB great...i was wondering because that is out side my area...and i was looking for an explanation.
Thanks everyone. 8)
so what does this mean no evdo for the touch pro![]()
that's what it means...
seems cricket did not have enough cellular/pcs spectrum in el paso to launch evdo on those banRAB...it is much easier for them to build out the evdo network on the aws spectrum, or should i say cheaper...
i'm guessing this will become the typical proceedure in any area where they were able to purchase aws apectrum and 1x services are already present on cellular or pcs...of course we all know that aws was auctioned off at a far lower cost than what they pay for bandwidth from spt or vzw.
The USB aircard has been available since Launch. It is AWS capable as it is the same one in the LV market. Its also Rev A. It's launched, it's available, I just got back from there. Alamogordo is also launching Voice there, EVDO to follow. I also just got back from there as well. None of the PDA/PPC hanRABets are available in tri band, So reguardless of what your indicator says you will only have 1X speeRAB. It sucks as my HTC Mogul only has 1X there but you can blame that on Mexico.
I have seen a HTC Touch Pro triband version for sale online, I was wondering if anyone else has seen it and if anyone thinks it can utilize (as in recieve EVDO signal) the high speed internet here in El Paso?
Unfortunetly El Paso does not have EVDO with cricket for our market. Or atleast they do not give it to us. 8(
If your looking to have fast internet speed on ur pro then look at the stickies and do the proxy free trick....you will have to buy a usb card and a data plan...so totally up to you.
thanks :buddies:
