the 6120 kits do not come with an SW44...only the 9200 kits do.

absolutely...it would be $57 for your programming, plus $26 for your receivers for a total of $83.
I was just saying nothing is 100%, a bomb could go off and kill evryone in Toronto, then no swap.
Mpeg 4 switch is planned and will happen, DJ I will give you the numbers so you can understand, 1.8 million subs, about 7% of subs have HD, or 126,000 boxes, give or take. Cost of the swap will be about $200 per box after the buy back from Echostar, so about $25,000,000.00 for the swap. Now if you read the last quater results you would know ARPU has gone up $3 a month, or $64,800,000.00 a year since last year. We have been making moves over the last 3 years to make this swap painless to ExpressVu.
Yeah workforbell, still no go with Puralator and my rental receivers arriving.
Getting a little upset. I am pretty sure its on your end, BEV probably forgot to ship the receivers out.
Its probably something as silly as that.
But then again I live 1 hour away from a city of 65 000 people. Why can't some guy from there get me my rental receivers. Yikes this is crazy.
- Westmanguy, dreaming, wondering, yearning, demanding for BEV!! lol
Yeah well bell will install the sw21 then. Either way the buyer don't have to deal with the installation.
Thanks for the info dirtyjeffer,
I think this is the way I'm going to go.
Cheers.
I have merged these two threads together as the old one answers Danny's question.
So workforbell, when is the MPEG4 going to happen? I am with * Choice and want to move maybe, kind of depends when they move etc. I want more HD, but not the lousey BEV customer service, as I have said in other threads depends on the ratio of BEV to * Choice. So I will wait till it happens, just want to know when!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So contrary to what workforbell states
The tax part makes no difference here. Either you pay tax on the $300 on hardware, or you pay tax on the $300 in programming, both work out to be the same. In your case you paid tax on the hardware but the reduction in programming costs of $300 will mean you don't pay tax on that programming.
you say you pay tax on $599 for hardware and tax on $300 programing.
Two bell guys saying different things sounds a lot like customer service.
Online shows net price of HDPVR rec as $299
Has anyone got thier bill for this promo yet?
No I am correct. When you receive your bill with credits you will see the credits are taken off before the tax is added. Simply put, if your bill was $100 and you get a $50 credit the final bill will be $50 plus taxes.
