To the rest... if we had a strong, courageous, wise leader like Putin we wouldn't have seen our credit rating downgraded, but I disagree with the notion that S&P executives ought to have been strong-armed to make it so. The objectivity of these organizations (or, to avoid an unnecessary sidetrack of an argument, the perceived objectivity of them) is absolutely crucial to their existence, and their existence is more or less what forms the backbone of the wealth of millions, in America and abroad.

I'm not mad at S&P for downgrading us, in other worRAB, I'm mad at our leaders for being unable to carry themselves with competence and dignity.

People who think corporate jet owners should be able to depreciate their jets over 5 years instead of 7 years for airline companies.
