    Lg 9800 vs Moto Q

I'm a student in college looking to use up my Ne2 with verizon. I want a phone that can play mp3's with a Qwerty keyboard and is the candybar style. Both the 9800 and the Q look like very good quality phones. Up until i just watched a video review of the Q I was set on the 9800, but the 2 gb minisd card ability of the Q kinda threw me because I am looking to get rid of my Ipod at work so i only have to carry one, plus the usual hacking ability of Moto's. (I don't know about how the windows os works and such for hacking) I would not be getting a data plan, but texting, calling, and a game every once and a while. Can I get any input?

    If you don't need a smartphone I wouldn't bother with the Q
