Why Does The iPod Touch Do This To Photos?

if say i ahve a phot on my iPod thats say 1080p, when ever i zoom in, or something, it doesn re focus the image, so really its just expanding the size, or something, cause then you see like wierd bumps on it and it goes fuzzy. but say on my PSP, if i zoom in on a 1080p picture, it automaitcally refocuses the image, since the psp or ipods screen are both NOT 1080p, it makes more sense that it can stay prefectly clear zooming in on a full HD picture. so is ther anyway to fix this on my iPod or is that just how its made?

    thanks
OHHHHH iTunes resizes the images thats why, NVM THANKS PEOPLE!

ill still give best answer i guess.. elighten me?
