bed-chamber while (s)he slept? In other words, was there a guard, a knight, or something along those lines, that was posted directly outside a Lord's bed-chamber door? If so, what was this servant's title?

No they had all the troops outside in case their was an attack but there were hundreds of servants and slaves that were loyal that it would have been impossible to get in with out being noticed.
He was called the Master of the Bedchamber. He was the one responsible for the comfort and safety of the king. As far as the guy who stood outside the door - he was just a soldier/sentry-at-arms and didn't have an official title, or any authority, either. His job was to prevent unauthorized people from entering the bedchamber during the night.
