circumstances!!? I have been searching for the right martial art for a while now, but no website or blog can really help me with what i'm looking for. i am not looking for a martial art that involves a lot of physical contact such as wrestling or boxing/kick boxing, so i guess that kinda means one that is more oriental? my dad is a black belt in karate, but i' not sure want to go as main stream as that. a while ago i tried ai ki do, but quit at yellow belt. that was ok for me.Here's what i'm looking for:
- good exercise on most levels
- toning
- a good balance between defense and attack
Here are my abilities:
- pretty fit
- pretty flexible
- already have some experience in ai ki do like martial arts

your describing karate. you can also try muay thai, but if you want to get a belt then karate or judo might be something to try.
