Thread: The book "What to Expect the First Year," When do I read each chapter?

Is the chapter called "The Fourth Month," about when the baby is four months old (after her four month birthday) or literally the fourth month (after the three month birthday.)

When it says, "by the end of this month the child shoud be able to ____________." When is that according to this book?

I just read on whenever I felt like it. I kind of wondered the same thing. About half way through the 3rd month I would move and read the 4th month section. I'm pretty sure that corresponds with when your baby turns 4 months.

Read the age chapters when your child reaches each specific age. Otherwise use the other chapters the same way you would use a dicitonary according to your topics of interest.
