Is the left trying separate itself from the peaceful image?

We have heard for years and year about how the wars that we are dealing with are b.s. I am not going to argue about that. Now it seems that the left is totally cool with (and condoning) a larger-scale war in Afghanistan, Pakistan and it won't be hard to get them to comply with Iran when it is "revealed" that they have WOMD. Is it possible that the left wants to prove that they want our military to go out and rough up some trouble?
Then why does the most liberal President ever seem to think that we need more wars?

And why do liberals always speak for the whole collection? You won't see me speaking for all conservatives.
I've never taken liberals seriously myself as being peaceful.

Well You heard wrong . Afghanistan is a mistake . Not when 9/11 occurred ; but Bush missed the bus on that one .

And to answer your point about Obama, he said before he was elected that he would concentrate on Afghanistan. And loads are against this saying that we should get the troops out.

You are completely misrepresenting many on the left's view of Afghanistan.

Support for the war there was almost universal among Dem congressmen. It was only the illegal and unjustified invasion and continued occupation of Iraq that was deemed wrong.

Obama campaigned on exactly what he is advocating now.

You say you would not speak for all conservatives but have no problem misrepresenting and generalising the opinions of all on the left.
