How do I get a video from my HTC Hero to my computer?

I took a video with my HTC Hero and I want to upload it to my computer. I tried to use the share option but the file is to large to attach to any of them but the mail option and I tried sending it via mail and it has been 20 mins and it hasn't shown up to the email account I sent it too.

I tried to find it on my computer and just manually transfer the file from the dcim (i'm assuming thats where it would be) folder but my phone isn't showing up under the my computer option so I have no clue how to find it

any suggestions?

i don't use android so im not sure, but the video may have saved to your internal memory. there should be an option to copy it to your memory card and then use your phone as a card reader when u plug it in. there also may be an option to enable "mass storage mode" which will make it show up in the my computer window under devices with removable storage.
