    2001 Chrysler Intrepid that makes weird "swooshing" sound when I turn the wheel...?

    I have a 2001 Chrysler Intrepid that runs well. My one concern with it is that every time I turn the wheel it makes a faint "swooshing/Whooshing" sound. Any thoughts on what might cause this? I bought it used a little over a month ago and it still runs great, just wondered if anyone knew what might cause this or if I should be concerned. Thanks!

    could be low of power sterring fluid

    It has something to do with the power steering. Either a low fluid level, or a power steering pump going bad.
