I have installed a Cloyes true roller timing set in my fresh 350 build. It has the crank sprocket with three keyways for 0, or +/- 4 degrees of extra cam timing. Is it necessary to use the + or - when using an aftermarket cam? Or can you just use the zero? from my understanding it's just extra flexibility. I have a Comp cam from their Thumpr series with a primary operating range of 2000 to 5800 rpms. Here are my cams specs.
