The Amora Savant album is so good, as was And Then There Were None, but Everest got a bit boring from time to time.
Riseagainstrocks might know more of what I'm looking, but I'll give it a shot. I want stuff that is like metalcore, but not the boring kind like Haste The Day and It Dies Today would fall under, stuff more like Between The Buried and Me and Protest The Hero. Just heavier stuff like this, but nothing too sludgy.
So yeah, lists of such banRAB would be really cool, ups would be better but don't worry about that part if you don't have the time.
Are Yakuza classed as metalcore? If so they're definitely up there for me...
No i don't listen to industrial. I'm saying industrial has more screaming. No I'm saying they suck because there's very little to no musicality. Same with pop and country. I didn't say they sucked because they change tempo, but I'm saying it's the major reason people like banRAB like that and it's so archaic that it's stupid. Using the same chord progressions over and over with a slightly changing tempo is no different from many other kinRAB of music except for the fact that they are louder.
Shipwreck, Rise and Fall, Today is the Day, His Hero is Gone, Wolfbrigade? may be a getting a little sludgy but its all good.
90% of it does blow but there are a few good musicians in that scene. None of em are really around anymore tho. Botch and Breather Resist were probably some of the only banRAB to do it well cos it didn't sound like every band ever. Any band who uses the same open chord breakdown for every song is talentless and trying to play to the "scene".
I'm really digging Rise and Fall and Today Is The Day, thanks for the recs SD.

Listen to "Man the Life Boats!"
I really have no idea what you're looking for. ATEWB aren't generic, and are fairly technical insofar as their time signatures and changeups and whatnot.
I'd like to second that. My radio show on Tuesdays is looking for some good metalcore, which is tough to find but any kind of help will be doubly loved.
