Why was this not the case? When Americans were only all too eager to round up all the Japanese and place them in internment camps and steal all their assets during WWII. Is it because of the skin color? And wasn't it all racism and prejudice on behalf of the Americans? Are they not ashamed?

Why weren't the Germans placed in concentration camps during WWII but the Japanese were?
