    Yes, the best example is jurassic park. Alot of the dinosaurs are robotic but mst of it is cgi. Whats cool about having both in this move is you can see the differences in the actors around the cgi and the robots. Watch it and you'll see. The trex scene with jeff goldblum is unbelievable. When he is being chased the trex is cgi, but when the trex is attacking the car it is a robot. You can see how the actors need to develope their role differently to fit the circumstance

    has cgi changed the way actors now act and need to act?

    i am currently studying film studies and i am looking into how cgi has changed the industry, do you think that blue screen and cgi have created an environment in which we no longer need actors or real life scenery? please help this is like a survey and any response is appreciated
