...Broadband dongle? I've been using Vodafone's K3565 Mobile Broadband Dongle to get internet access since July 2010. The PAYG or "Top Up and Go" tariff was £15.00 per month for up to 3GB of data. Now, out of the blue, Vodafone have announced that they are going to reduce the data allowance on this tariff from 3GB to 2GB without any reduction in price!

So what I thought I might do is to try to replace the Vodafone SIM in the K3565 dongle with a series of 3 Mobile Broadband 3GB Data SIMs: these latter SIMs last for up to 3 months and can be bought online for as little as £5.00 - a big saving.

I have heard that most K3565 dongles are unlocked and am wondering if I replaced the Vodafone SIM with a Three SIM, as outlined above, and used a different Dashboard, e.g., ZTE Join Air-1.0, I might be able to use the Vodafone modem to get internet access via the Three network at a fraction of the cost.

What do you reckon?
