2007 Dodge Nitro. Customer complained of the engine running rough. Test drove the vehicle. Allowed the vehicle to gently roll forward and felt a misfire symptom. No DTCs. The vehicle could be felt 'skipping' or 'jumping', at idle with the foot off both pedals in drive.

Did a compression test. All cylinder's except one measured 210 psi. One cylinder measured 180 psi. Put a bit of oil inside the cylinder and it went up 5 psi. Would that one low compression cylinder cause a misfire-like symptom to occur?
