I have a pair of 8 ohm 3-way speakers, but I am not sure how many watts they are. They are MCS linear phase speakers made by J.C. Penney. It looks like they have a built-in speaker-protection circuit, so maybe I don't have to worry too much. Is it possible to have a receiver that is too powerful?
