I have a 2nd generation iPad that has the wifi & 3G capabilities (Verizon).

A few different times I've bought 1 gig of data that lasts for 30 days. Costs $20.
I never end up using all of it.
It's BS that it expires after 30 days.

Dunno if rollover is the right word here,
but do you think there will ever be a time where you can buy data that will never expire?
Or at least have a longer usable time than just 1 month?

I've stopped buying 3G and kind of doubt I'll ever buy it again unless I'm going to be somewhere for 2 weeks+ that doesn't have wifi.

What you guys think?
Any evidence anywhere that their data plan ways will change?

What's your thoughts on there being a middle man company that charges say...$30 for 1 gig of data that never expires or allows a longer usable time (4 or 5 months)? Math might not be right for the company to work out with those numbers, but I'm just throwing out the idea.
