I heard that there is a new e61 firmware available. Any e61 owners tried it?
This should be the 3rd version.

Are you guys pluggin in your phones to AC power while updating?

I have flashed many phones (6682, E61, N73...etc.) many times using NSU and never once have I had any problems.

The 2nd update made the browsing speed ridiculously faster IMO. I had 1.0 mb's download before and 1.6 after.

If you can't dial on SIP, delete your SIP profiles and recreate it. I had problems dialing on a restored SIP profile.

I also read it hot NSU today. I don't have my cable with me or else I would try it out. Once I get home, I will let you know the results.

hi guys,

here is a link for anyone who had problems updating there e61 from V2 to V3. My nokia suite said my software was up to date, it was not, only had V2 at the time. So then i read this thread and it worked perfect.

things i noticed...

- there is a new Application called Internet Telephone, but i have yet to try it

- if you press or accidentally press the voice record button, it only opens the voice record app, but it does not start recording immediately unlike before where it just start recording immediately...

thats all for now...
