/ uncompressed) & should be shrunk? I created a word doc with 86 pictures, a children's book, and it is a monstrously-huge file, at 48mb. It is because one or more pictures are either BMP, or uncompressed JPGs/GIFs. It is completely unnecessary for the pictures to be that high resolution, and backing this file up is a problem because of the immense file size.

Is there any way to determine which pics are the biggest, so I don't have to replace ALL 86 pics?

(I've written three sequels to this book, which are the same page-length or longer than the original, but their file-sizes are between 12mb and 26mb.)

I need to decrease this file size. Thank you for any advice.

PS: I tried opening it as a text document, but although I can see the text, there is no clue to revealing individual pictures.
