    Intruder 1500LC Carb Question

My father and I are reinstalling the OEM carb Jet needles and Main Jets. I found a service manual which says that the Pilot screws are pre-set to 2 turns back. If I remember correctly, when we jetted the bike I tightened the Pilot Screws, then gave it the required forward turns by DynoJet.

My question is: do I loosen the Pilot screws to their highest point then tighten 2 turns back?

    Intruder 1500LC Carb Question

Well, for the benefit of others then, NO it means that you gently turn them IN as far as then can go and then back them OUT 2 turns.

Can't do it the other way 'cause there is no good way to find "their highest point".

    Intruder 1500LC Carb Question

That's right. In my defense when I got to the bike and took a look I remebered how it looked. We installed the Dyno Jet kit on that bike over 3 years ago I forgot and don't have a carb bike or car. Thanks anyways
