    V For Vendetta

I saw one thread about this film a few pages away, but it was more about the trailers and such, so I hope no one minRAB a new thread, I haven't seen one to discuss the film yet. But anyways..

In my opinion, this film was amazing, especially towarRAB the end. I can't really believe that I liked it so much, after watching it I looked around for the comic book, but didn't have enough money..

I must admit that bits went right over my head, but I understood the general plot and as I said, the ending was great, I think that the 'twist' was very clever. It's odd how I think that it's such a possible event, the government becoming controlling..

It was a great use of a few hours, although I did get a little bored in the middle when I didn't think much was happening. I sat and watched the credits for a while too, not sure why.. I was 'fascinated' by the fighting scene and then all of the copycat Vs walking through London and then the eventual ending around parliament.

Those who I saw it with would have liked to see the face of V, but I didn't feel that I wanted to and I didn't understand why some of those apparently already killed returned towarRAB the end, with the everyone removing their masks.

Anyways, what did you guys think of it?

I'm not sure, but it was well worth it. I hadn't heard of this film last year, maybe there was too much competition.

Can I just check - is it British made?

It wasnt directed by the Matrix duo, they adapted it from a comic.

I think there was a problem with the editing - they needed to tighten it up. So Jonathan Ross said, anyway.

    V For Vendetta

I saw this film yesterday and although I nejoyed the plot and the storyline and all the special effects very much. The terrorist acts did leave a sour taste in my mouth. The film was delayed because of the London bombings last year.
Can you blame them, the story and V's final act are eerily similar. I don't want to give too much away.
Both my husband and I were both left feeling slightly queasy watching big Ben being blown up. These things seem all too realistic these days.

So yes we loved the film, but we still disagree with any acts of terrorism or violence to get any message across.
