i've installed edonkey2000 and overnet and didn't get any foistware with it.
just don't install the extra bs and get loader from itself
You receive LOW ID if your ports are somehow not reachable for other users. Yuo get HIGH ID if your ports are accessible for other user even if you're a leecher.

About something you call reward system (actually there's no reward system, but something calld "Queue Ranking"): eMule clients show a QR:[x] in the source view. QR stands for queue ranking and it is your current position in this source's queue. Obviously, a lower value is better.
Your QR is modified by your "score", read about it here.
