fileheaven never used an invite system and they open registration every couple of years for maybe 12 hours or so , very difficult to get in

Maybe the main reason why the site is still alive after nearly 8 years of operation is because they closed membership when Sharereactor got busted in 2004.

Anyway, the ed2k scene has been rather severely declining over the past 5 years or so. The main thing supporting the ed2k network these days is VeryCD and a few other Chinese release sites.
