KILL RIAA (a program for kill RIAA

Actually, just kicking them off our internet, which -we- (the isps) own, would be rather effective...

1: there is no "ownership" on ip ranges, they have nothing to claim if other people would just announce theirs and don't reply to abusemail :P
that would only remove them from the internet, not help them out of business tho.

2: any larger isp can do a hostile takeover on their members (such as vivaldi (universalmusic) with 1.2 billion shares at 26 dollars each both google and level3 could easily buy them and dismantle their companies).. would be better for the internet as a whole if someone did.. maybe we should collect some money?

3: their little copyrights thing can't be maintained in court anyway
my password string generator can and has generated all possible byte sequences up to 2gb stringlength, therefore all midi files (common music notation), cd iso's, books, mp3's movies etc included.

4: their little copyrights thing can also not be proven in court in case the media is compressed, after all, it's only a 'work based upon'.. the frequencies are different and therefore the music notation is different as well, the length is different and the data is different. most stuff out there on the various p2p networks happens to be compressed.. mind you, noone ever fought them on that point because everyone just 'assumes' they're right.. wars aren't about who's right, they're about who's left in the end, and if everyone just let's them have their way, it'll be them

5: in all cases where we had contact with them regarding sites of our customers they weren't even capable of providing proof that they actually had orders from whomever they claimed to represent to represent them and stalk us and spread lies about our customers which they could not even prove (see points 3 and 4).

6: they can take you to court all they like, they're a bunch of nerdy attorneys after all.. ambulance chasers, but when it get's personal and dangerous they'll just hide away.

we should not remove them from our internet, we should just remove them of our planet (literally)..

furthermore, on with point 7, and probably the most important one.

7: copyrights are NOT democratically supported
should there ever be a referendum on that crap i'm quite sure people will not be in favour of a law that would put 90% of the population in prison if enforced properly.
(after all, everyone has got a copied text or part of a book or song somewhere..)
if your country limits your freedom by telling you which byte sequences you're allowed to download and upload to other computer systems then there is something wrong with the democracy in your country or politicians have been corrupted.
in that case, the solution is simple, you take a gun, make sure it's a larger one than 'your' government has, and go to the capitol and just take it over and make sure the new constitution has a law against corrupcy.
such concepts are known as 'revolutions'.. maybe unheard of to the average computer nerd but in most smaller countries it is most definately an option and when the time comes where you have to decide wether you pay *****5M in fines to RIAA or simular terrorist groups or you buy weapons for it the choice is clear.

so, now that we've covered the most important points, just stop developing all this p2p bullshit and put the FTP servers with anonymous upload back online as well as a website with access to the same files and indexed into all search engines.
makes things hell a lot easier.

we can also just play it to the point where the governments have to decide, they either take the internet with -our- rules or it's back to the stoneage for them.

the internet really should have it's own law and it's own representation in the UN as all those corrupted little governments out there do not protect us from mafia such as the RIAA but instead provide the RIAA with means to blackmail money out of us and our clients.

as for my copyrights on everything because my string generating program generated it, you are all free to copy and distribute all combinations of bytes up to 2gb, except for the RIAA and their members. (so far for outdated business concepts and using their 'law's against them
