out of interest angelheart, did it freak you out a little when you where filming this time, to know that there were people that analyse the programme so much...or are you used to forgetting about that from critics?

I would hope actors, in any programme, would rather hear critique(is that a word) from fans of their work rather than from people who watch programmes because they have to rather than because they want to.



It's definitely Patience PG, she was mentioned in some previews..........she hasn't aged quite enough, but then neither has Annie Timmins

i am gutted that there will be only 6 episodes next year. going from 12 this year to just 6 next year is BBC budgeting gone mad! Still 6 episodes is better than none! I guess we will be seeing the final series next year............all good things must come to an end but I have fallen in love with Dorcas Lane. She is such a wonderful lady and I will miss her! Thank goodness for DVD's!

Just a quick question though Angelheart. it's not about Lark Rise. When you were in Jonathan Creek, how did you decide what way to play the character and why did you leave? Caroline Quentin was a big shoe to fill but Carla was a wacky, refreshing difference. Did you enjoy working on Jonathan Creek and was the schedule as gruelling as Lark Rise? sorry to be a pain, it's just i've watched the repeats on Gold and thought you played the role enthusistically but couldn't help thinking how totally versatile you are as an actress! carla is so different to Dorcas!

Let me explain.

Watching Delia on Monday, they played a clip of the wondeful "Abigail's Party" from back when, and in the scene shown was Janine Duvitski, Ruby Bentall's (aka Minnie) mother. And what a striking resemblance - shouldn't be surprised though, I suppose!

OK for sanity's sake I think Mrs Dibber was Emma's mother's brother's wife....

I think the script writers mistake was to say Emma was a Dibber before she married. I think it was they meant that she was part of the Dibber family, although she still is obviously - I blame Laura for saying it. She is a silly girl - she should have checked her diary! Dorcas would never have made that mistake
