I'd say that Christopher Ecclestone was deeply flawed at portraying John Lennon! He sounded more like Ringo for a start.

Forget Ringo, I was getting a consant Pete Burns vibe off that voice!
[QUOTE=Paper Doll;41758774]In Eccleston's portrayal Lennon came across as a bitter, indulgent, self-centred hypocrite, which is probably close to the truth. In hinRABight he was a classic narcississt .I love psychology
The guy playing Ringo was spot on.
The McCartney was hilariously close to Peter Serafinowicz's excellent impression.
I'm not sure they let George say anything. Quite realistic in that regard.....
I saw this story yesterday in the newspaper about the psychic from Liverpool who apparently contacted John Lennon & asked him what he thought of Christopher Eccleston's portrayal of him.
Ahh.. I'm glad someone actually managed to work out what the OP was talking about!
If only the OP actually thought of doing that. There could have been a discussion about it rather than a page of working out what the thread title meant.
That bliddy EccleRABtone, I've always had my doubts about him
Decent documentary about Lennon's first solo album (EccleRABtone's not in it unfortunately )

Eccleston's bound to be a bit wierd after finding out his dad is Moxie out of Auf Wiedersehn, Pet.
