After a few bad choices and some mental stress from family issues, I ended my 09-10 school year with a 1.5 and was both academically dismissed and suspended from financial aid. I kept in contact regularly with the head of my major's department, so I was able to be academically re-instated, but I still couldn't get my financial aid back! I called the office and they sent me a form to fill out. One section asks for evidence to support my claim, but I don't have any as of yet. Can I appeal without it, or do I have to find evidence? If I do need evidence, would it be possible to start seeing a psychologist and eventually get a letter from them to use as support? I'd rather see the psychologist since I went through a lot of hard times both mentally and financially so either way I'm searching for one, but I guess I'm asking if I can get a letter from one to figure out how to appeal. Thanks!
