...that the election is over? I felt bombarded by the toxic energy of all the ads that seemed to have infested every conceivable media source the past few months, and tired of the perpetual stream of automated calls we received about candidates and propositions on the ballot. Today it was so pleasant to go to Pandora Radio and actually be able to listen to music without having to first hear Carly Fiorina's insipid, grade-school-level bashing of Barbara Boxer yet again. It was lovely to be able to flip on the TV and not have every commercial break filled with politicians slinging mud at one another. It was a relief to watch the news without having to hear about yet another scandal involving a politician that was manufactured by his or her opponent to manipulate voters.
