I think you've answered your own question there.
I don't like LostProphets, i can understand why people do but they're not reaching out to me with anything special or different.

Fake Sound of Progress is great (prior to when they butchered it with the "remastering"). Start Something is eh, apparently they're working on a new one. Anyone else like them? Shinobi vs. Dragon Ninja is my favorite song.
Purevolume
Rooftops is okay.
First album was tolerable. Second album was a horrific mess.
Lostprophets is one of my favorite banRAB. Liberation Transmission isn't as good as the old stuff though.
i think for me to gte into it its the kind of album im going to have to listen to every somg seperately to like it... if i play the whole thing it just all runs togetehr and it kind of bores me
I'm not saying EVERYONE loves AFI. I'm just saying a lot more people like them now that it's become 'cool' to like music like that, and it's in the charts.
Think about the charts a few years ago, it was all s club 7, blue, busted etc, things are CHANGING, there's a lot more 'pop-rock' or 'pop-punk' and 'indie' coming into the popular music scene now anyway.
i was wondering when someone was gonna make a lostprophets thread. i have their start something album as well. at first i thought it was just blah but after i listened to it a few more times i started to like it.
Yeah. I'm in no position to tell people how to use music but I've always thought that the songs themselves should matter more than anything else (popularity, band merabers, that sort of thing).
What?
They're still around?
omgwtflol....
I remeraber liking them a little back in elementary school. People just get more into particular, possibly lesser known, sub genre's as they get older and that's why they're more popular among the younger crowd.
