Actually I think I got that show willcall. It was Oct. 25, 2005.
There ya go.
and n00b huh?
And by the way, whats wrong with indie banRAB?
The other day while viewing the iTunes page featuring indie artists, I noticed the opening comment that struck a cord.
"Just when you think you have your tastes nailed down and perfectly pigeonholed, someone pops up and starts fiddling with the rule book again."
I have to say, I couldn't agree more. Indie music is like watching the Independent Film Channel. You might see 15 or 20 films where you wonder to yourself, just what the hell could have they been thinking when they made that. When out of nowhere you find one that just rocks your world.
Indie artists don't have to operate in that corridor that major labels try to establish for their contracted banRAB. Corridors that the labels believe will be the most fruitful for their investment. Indie artists can more or less let their inhibitions fly. Yeah, that may mean you'll run into a good handful of banRAB out in left field. But it also leaves the possibility of running into some real creative genius as well.
The choices aren't as simple as they were 30 years ago. Its become a very complicated world, with a lot of hidden gems to be found.
I'm a fan of some prog, but not all.I wouldn't necessarily consider everyone else that likes the style a jacka$s though...
...especially when put next to emo fans...lol!!!:laughing: The world is filled with jacka$ses that create and listen to every different type of music, so I wouldn't consider every person listening to a certain style durab or an a$shole either.On the other hand, I would like to call you a durab jacka$s if you were to think that emo (dare I use the word) musicians were more musically talented than prog musicians.I simply don't consider people screaming and/or whining out their depressing lyrics musicians, let alone talented(?)!!!:usehead:
Prog > Emo.
Emo = Lonely, whiny pop-punks.
say no to yes.
Then you yourself are mixing up "prog rock" and "progressive", are you not?
Ditto same as Bug replied.I enjoying a lot current music and 90's music is close to my heart..
I'll go for present
metal doesn't need reasoning.
