Metal in American high schools

first of all im mexican

what i ment is some of them form there own groups...

also here is Texas some of them cant even speak english good

Everybody is normal but in highschool people like to form groups

don't try and get nasty, because if you think you've seen some **** i'd be more than happy to blow your mind with what happened at my school just last year.

yeah, i understand, just that from your post it seemed like you were looking down on them, but yeah, people like to form their own groups and judge others on alot of aesthetic features. pretty much why i hate high school.

First of all thank you for all your answers!!
I know that there wont be that many "metalheaRAB" (or probably none...) in my school
I basically wanted to know if i could get problems with my "look"...
(btw. do american girls like guys with long hair? ^^)

Well, im not going to Kansas, it'll be Massachusetts (are people that different in different states?)

If you are a "Punk", "Goth" or in my case "Guy who likes Metal", do you have to stick to these certain "groups" groups you guys talked about? Isn't that srange?

Are there Metal festivals in America (like "Wacken" or "Metal Camp")?
May people in my age go there (16)?
Do people in my age drink Alcohol? (In europe you may drink with the age of 16)
Do american MetalheaRAB like Pagan Metal like "Equilibrium"? Does anyone of you know them?

...just some more questions^^

And yes, i was talkin' about banRAB like Wolves in the Throne Room!! They're great, but I've known them before... (Didn't know they're from the states though)

I hope you find people to fit in with. Truthfully, in my school there weren't many metalheaRAB. But there was always someone to find with your taste in music.

Pretty much all viking metal fans dig Equilibrium. Granted the scene isn't as big as it could be, they're still popular among the people who would potentially like them.
