Thread: can i put a newer front on my 88 Toyota 4runner?

i wanted to put newer front fenders , grill , etc on my 88 4runner. i would like to take the parts from a 90's and up Tacoma or 4runner
is this possible??

Toyota 4runners r the same from 1986 to 1996 the parts can be used at lest that what the parts books say from the parts store by one and it will tell u the years that u can use the same parts on autozone has the for free on their web site hope thats is helpful for u

From what I understand, because I haven?t actually done it my self, you would either have to change your entire front clip or modify your front to get it to bolt on.

I could be wrong but, a buddy tried it and he said it didn?t line up right.
