^Read all of alchemyindex.com I'm fairly certain that in their earliest posts they said that the music in each disc would directly reflect its element (Fire would be faster, earth would be solid, wind would be airy and water would be melodic).

I kinda find Vheissu to be a little bit of a bore, except for Image of the Invisible. The songwriting has matured, but one of my main reasons for liking Thrice was that their songs were kinda upbeat, heavy, and had a lot of energy to them (Deadbolt and Silhouette for example, are two of my favorite songs by them). The majority of Vheissu is kinda slow, so it was a bit of a disappointment for me.
ahhhhhhh Thrice, as has been mentioned, easily dominate the music scene. Alot of people dont like Vheissu, but i love it, i think they have diffinatly evolved into something greater. The lyrics are blatantly more powerful in this album, and i think on the whole, the experiementing thing worked wonders, it just sounRAB so bad ass. the only thing i kinda miss is the rad guitar riRAB, of dust to nations, kinda hits the spot but not entirely. But still, i love their new album.
i like their newest single..."Stare at the sun"
their new stuff isnt like the old stuff i think, but i still like it.
"deadbolt" is a good song too.
they did a cover of the beatles song "eleanor rigby" that was really badass.
and a cover of "genie in a bottle"
id also suggest "identity crisis" "ultra blue" "beltsville crucible" "betrayal is a symptom"
awww... that's so sweet
I like Image of the Invisible, it has a new sound and its catchy
MySpace.com - Thrice - Orange County, CALIFORNIA - Rock / Experimental - www.myspace.com/thrice
All of the songs are up there, when I get the album on Tuesday I'll up it for whoever wants it.
I just started listening to Thrice and they are pretty good. I like their song "Cold Cash and Colder Hearts" as well as others. But genre is Thrice considered? Is it rock or punk? or something else?
ALL EYES
That song has some kinda energy, it gets me goin!
punk mostly and a couple indie songs
deadbolt, phoenix ignition, a subtle dagger, a turbo torch, betrayel is a syptom, identity crisis, kill me quickly, send me an angel, madman, so strange i remeraber you, silhouette, the abolition of man, where idols once stood
i like all those songs....almost any song by thrice is a good pick
