I'm not quite sure what having a woman with him is insulting to all the guilRAB...and if so, why Lawrence wouldn't just have her stay at the inn while he tried to get a loan. It's a pretty big blunder for Lawrence not to have done his research before buying the armor...i'm sure had he just asked around people would have been talking about the plunge in armor prices. Being in debt can turn the nicest guy mean and ugly.
