Cricket in San Diego...Launching shortly!!!

well LA is a huge dense market, perfect for a carrier like metro or cricket. i can't imagine why there would be any hesitation to want to launch it. i heard that they were short on cash, and that's what's taking so long.

as far as SD goes? LEAP launched every market purchased in Auction 58 will be launched in 2006 once SD and portland are complete. http://www.howardforums.com/showpost...78&postcount=3
I don't see the sense in launching halfway through the holiday season, so i'm sure this has a lot to do with the 2006 year end financial report, and being able to tell all their shareholders "Hey look what we did!! We're freaking AMAZING!!" And it's true. Cricket is AMAZING!

Well, just heaRAB up to those who lives in SD, Cricket will be launching Deceraber 3, 2006. I think most users would find coverage to be much better in the Southern area...

Really? The third? I thought it was supposed to be the 5th or 6th. It seems unusual for them to launch something on a Sunday. Oh well. I'm sure they want as many adRAB as possible before years end

As far as LEAP, they pushed and pushed, and this reminRAB me of the first launch of Metro PCS in the bay area where coverage SUCKED. Well it didn't suck, but it was pretty bad...

cricket's coverage is awesome in the promised coverage area. they launch with most(if not all) of the towers active and are at 100% within a month. we're not metro.

It's great that CricKet it gaining so much ground on the other companies in terms of coverage. Eventually they will be nationwide and still no contract needed
