Thread: Taming of the shrew, short summary...?!!!?!?

Help, i'm doing my english coursework on educating rita. I need to mention the taming of the shrew because both this and educating rita are written in the same genre. Can anyone give me a really brief summary of the taming of the shrew (about 2 lines long?) HEELLPP!!!

2 sisters, A = famous and gets everything she wants B= stuck up and boring

A decideds to get married
B keeps getting hit on by an almost socially unacceptable man-get married

B resents him..... B's husband begings to rsent her
they play tricks on each other until they fall in love properly

Have you ever seen the film 10 Things I Hate about You? It is actually a modern take on the Taming of the Shrew.

In order to date the younger sister, a boy must first convince the mean older sister to fall in love (their father has said that the younger sister can only date when her older sister does,). The boy must then find a potential suitor for the older sister and make them fall in love ... or at least that is the version in 10 Things I Hate About You.
