i think it's just something with the service cause when i 1st disabled the prepay it said that i need to activate cricket clicks, which it has done to be before i even disabled. i just exited cricket clicks and went back in and it was fine. and to whomever found this lil trick out, it is awesome! thank u!!!!!

I am sure that Cricket gets paid or has to pay something for every download that is done on the brew service. If and when this gets too big then there will be an oRABet as to how much is downloaded as to what they are getting paid or paying. Of course Cricket employees are on this board as well so I am sure that with you tube and this thread that it will not be long before someone opens their mouth to the wrong person and something happens. Of course your downloaRAB can be tracked by phone because brew can't be swapped between phones because the app attaches itself to your phone by ESN or whatever it uses. All they have to do is run a report to show download usage versus flex bucket money you have available. Only high download hackers will be noticed because it will be soo out of whack. Will they go after you? Probably not but don't expect it to last forever. :sad:

yes. all the content is licensed, and appropriately royalties must be paid to the content owner, and yes they can still get a log of your downloaRAB even if you did not pay for them.

I kinda figured that but as you said the employees know very little. Being as such I wondered if any time a prob came up if they just do a personal setting backup, flash the phone and restore the personal stuff. That way they don't even have to use any brain power what-so-ever to fix the problem.

This doesn't seem to work for Revol... I get a message about my balance in my Revol Bucks (the equivalent of the Cricket bucket thingy) when I go back into BREW to get ringtones.

My downloaRAB are working again, but they are taking forrrrevvver... It keeps disconnecting during download and I get that message back up about activating cricket clicks. I am thinking either I should stay away for fear of getting screwed, or download every single thing on there before you can't do it anymore.
