Here in San Antonio, TX I've experienced the identical problem described. Thanks for the tip on https:// since gmail is my #1 destination without the use of versamail. I am using a 650 as well, no pics on yahoo, and can still connect to any site using bluetooth DUN on my laptop, so the connection is not the problem, just the browser. ##3282 was unsuccessful
Would be nice if this was just a preface to evdo being rolled out, but I probably shouldn't hold my breath while buying a 755 or centro in anticipation...yet.
btw, just on a floock since I've already run a search, has anyone ever heard or seen a treo with working apps (ie google maps, versamail) successfully working?

I had that error message pop up on My PPC-6700 sometimes before I sold it. It wouldn't let em access most sites for a while, then the problem would go away, then come back later. it was weird. Hope you guys find a fix.

yeah i can acces https://mail.google.com no problems with that site

espn.com

https sites
https://mail.google.com

https://flightschoolcandidates.gov
etc............


seems like you are right about the https sites, they all seem to work

I can also access the gmail site but thats about it. I get espn.com but not yahoo.

others have been able to bypass this prob by installing a third party browser like opera mini or others...it seems to be a problem with blazer itself...

I live in San Diego and have encountered similar problems with my customers Treo's which I have flashed. All have the 1040 PRL and all can only access Yahoo. Cricket's homepage can not be accessed as well. I have had no problems with 6700's or any LG's (9900, 9800, 8500, 8300) or even my Motorola Q.

I am sure we would all pitch in to bail you out randomwit-------but if the bail was so high it involved selling our personal ppc to free ya I think you would be on your own.
