MMS Not Working (More Info)

So far on my DaRAB V3m as long as i dont OTA or load a EVDO PRL on his phone his MMS works just fine now, My Aunts E816 MMS started working now again too, However my Cuzens Q and my VX6800 are still being a bish. On the Q i changed the MMS prot to 80 it worked for like 3 days, then it stoped on MMS, so i changed it back to 8080 and so far 2days of it working, on my VX6800, it wont send on 8080 i had to make a New Cricket wap thing and set it to Port 80 for it to send and revice, if i get on IE, i cant send or recive anything until i go into Registery and delete a Key in IE,

As far as the V3m's it seems just as you dont use a VZW or Altel Flash you will be fine, and as long as you dont OTA or load a EVDO prl, i think you have to HDR edit that thing, i just cant rerabere how to do it x.x

Make sure you Have the WAP code on there cricket Account

i use alltel and get mms everytime...

i've sent the same mms file to so many with mms problems to no avail...hmmmm :befuddled

i am forking bogged down with this skool work, but i will get that mms tutorial up within a week *being realistic*

if you are using any razr and having mms issues, then i will get the rsd settings from one loaded with cricket v3c and then you can try rsd general to load those settings...i was looking into it the other night and rsd seems to have more fielRAB to edit concerning the wap and mms than moto pst...i say that b/c i read form a cricket v3c with it and it had a few items that i hadn't seen using moto pst...i could've just missed them but maybe this will help...

anyone know where i can find out how to get my mms to work on my flashed vx8500. i flashed it over to cricket and im trying to find the instructions on how to recieve and send mms and get wap.any suggestions?

What confuses me is that many of us think the problem might be with Cricket or that Cricket did something to sabotage our flashed phone, but one of my co-workers has a sprint mogul flashed to cricket and his mms is working fine. So if it has something to do with cricikets end , then why isnt his down? The other thing some people are thinking is that it might be the actual roms we are flashing our phones to. If it is that, then how come when I flash my phone to the exact same rom my co-worker is using and double check all registry settings between my phone and his, I still cant get incoming mms but his continues to work perfect. Whats the deal with this? Its just confusing to me. :befuddled

I have a XV6700 and this is how I fix my problem with MMS]

Add URL to exceptions
mms.mycricket.com/*
*.mycricket.com/*

delete this key registry ( don't worry it will appear again when you open the Internet Explorer)
HKeyCurrentUser/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/InternetSettings/connections/DefaultConnectionsSettings

now check your messages and tell me if it works, but remeraber that every time you use the internet explorer you need to delete this key or use Opera Mini or Opera Mobile.

I didn't have this problem with WM5 so I think that is something with the new Roms.

Do you work at a cricket store? What you want to do is make sure they have WAP on there account. If it is then mms should work.

It worked!!!! I just deleted that registry setting, I didn't make the exception, but it worked! As soon as I went to my messages it downloaded them all. Thanks. This was on a 6800 by the way.

You need to add the Exception if you want to send the MMS if not it won't go thru.
