BTW I don't even need to flash a phone that doesn't have an MSL. Just set up the ESN/MEID with Cricket, then do manual NAM programming for the MDN/MIN/Home Sid. then use *22804 (OTA code for Cricket in Phoenix, this will change depending on where you are I think from 22800 thru 22807). This will update the PRL without using a cable. So far I have done several phones this way (to /from Cricket/Verizon/Alltel/Sprint).
Does anybody know why a Cricket branded Kyocera KX413/KE413 won't use *22800 thru *22807 for OTA? The other Kyocera's I have will.
i just "fixed the esn" on the one i have, my brother is using it he loves it. but my co-worker says t use the meid dec and it will work.
so i wont be able to play music..at all?
the solution is posted by chris if you dont understand
amoamare tried the meid and it didn't. i have one i'm willing to test if any dealer wants to try :P
What's the official word on this, I bought this phone from someone. He had cricket on it and was using it up to the point until he sold it to me and called in and switched the service to his new cricket phone. What exactly does a newbie like myself need to do. I am going to cricket tommorrow to get this done..
explain to me this better. I get verizon phones with a MEID like A0000003435203e9
what would i need to give cricket? i use a meid converter, could i just give them the pESN like i always do?
Check to make sure OTASP hasn't been disabled using PST tool.
If your phone has the music player working, it will work as long as you DON'T change the Brew settings! This also goes for a certain illegal thing that I can't discuss here and don't bother asking by PM either.
Otherwise, if it's already gone, it's gone for GOOD, and there's no way to get it back. Consider it a loss.
