Verizon A870 MMS & WAP is working.

I have an samsung a870 i used on verizon prepaid and i would like to use it on cricket. I live in Utah and cant find any place that can flash it and get wap & picture messaging working. Any ideas where i can go and get it done or send to? Thanks for any info!!

What program did you use to change MIP to SIP ?

If you can get that phone to Simple IP, you should be ok, though I'm not sure with the US Cellular firm. And you will have to enable the hidden menus (not so hard if it's the same as Verizon).

you must use the dll for the provider (us cellular)...the filesystems are a little different for each provider and that's why your dll files won't work...

btw- it's nice to see you all over the place really soaking this stuff up...

I have the a870 cricket bin but the dll is fake i think, because when i read nam 1 is says phone not identical to this model! It reaRAB the phone info without any problem! Any info would be great.

for the a870 do you have to do steps like you would w/ the u740?

Like would u have to Press Menu, go to get it now and press * and then enter a code and change settings from there or can it all be done from the computer?
