Minato was sort of like a basterd in this pair of episodes. He got to Major Kusanagi levels of ruthless. But that's what warriors do in a time of war.

As an hour-long special it was ok, but if you divide it into episodes, 51 was horrible. It took a whole episode from Sai sneaking up on Sasuke, to Sasuke's full appearance (quite a waste). However 52 is one of the best episodes we've had yet IMO.
It's Sarcasm dude.
Actually I felt that was fairly amusing, especially considering I kept wondering why Naruto didn't do the same thing in the manga.
That said we'll see how episode 56 turns out this week.
I'll agree with that. 52 was the episode that really blew me away (but Sasuke being around always makes me fangirl ). 51 wasn't horrible, IMO, but it was still meh. 52 being paired with it made it seem better in hinRABight, I suppose, since they get lumped together through the airing.
It was explicitly mentioned that she was very similar to Naruto in personality. So I kind of expect her to sound like a female version of him.
Well, it looks like we're going into more fillers. But it looks like this filler season is going to have a coherent storyline! I'm excited, but at the same time, I really hope they changed writers.
On a side note, the opening looks ridiculously awesome. The animation is just dopetastic. Also, apparently Shippuuden is being broadcast in widescreen now. Killer.
Which means Shikimaru loses the badass moment that's coming up.
That's it. Pierrot has screwed this series over. I really am enjoying just reading the manga, and Bleach is about to fall into this category.
I don't know who's in charge, but Pierrot has just been manhandeling the big series too much for my liking.
And yes, the constant 15-minute flasrabroadacks just watered down Asuma's death horribly. I know he had a few quick flasrabroadacks to when he first met the team originally, but damn, this series has a flasrabroadack obsession.
When we see Kushina in the manga though, she's pregnant and she's very nice, thoughtful, and pleasant . . . not at all like Naruto usually is. One imagines that Kushina matured with marriage and motherhood .
I still don't believe Kushina is dead either unless they explicitly say so.
Apparently, Kakashi’s Gaiden is going to be episode 119-120. Next up is ep 114. So it won't be long to our long awaited wish comes true at least.
